Shaherose was born in Tanzania ( then Tanganyika).
Finished her Primary and Secondary school in Tanzania and went to Pakistan, Karachi to Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre where she completed BSc in Physiotherapy.
From Pakistan Shaherose made her way to Lisbon Portugal, where she stayed many years and then finally moved to UK with her brother.
Shaherose speaks eight languages fluently. English, Portuguese, Spanish, Urdu, Hindi, Gujarati, Kutchi, a spattering of Arabic and many other dialects, and sings in five languages.
Shaherose was introduced to music by Dr Prabha Atre of SNDT college, Mumbai, a classical world renowned Vocalist. Later Shaherose became the disciple of Pandit Shree Maniramji, the Ustad and Guru of the world renowned Classical Vocalist, Pandit Jasraj, his younger brother.
Shaherose believes that her Greatest Guru is Ustad Karim Khan Saheb, her Murshid-e- Kamil, Hazir Imam, The Ulu’l-amr and the Qayyim of his Time, from whom she draws total inspiration and guidance.
From a young age she was taught Ginans ( Esoteric Knowledge- filled compositions by Pirs and Syeds) of the Shia Imami Ismaili Tariqa and Kalame – e – Maula ( sayings of Hazrat Ali (a.s) by her parents, who had a phenomenal knowledge of Ginans and their meanings. Shaherose was taught Bhajans by her brother Sinan.
Shaherose is currently working on Ginans, Indian Classical Music, especially Thumris, Kalame -e- Sufiana or also called Kalam-e -Arifana, and Troubadour Music to produce unique soul searching melodies for appreciative wider audiences.
For the Golden Jubilee of Maulana Hazir Imam, Shaherose produced the INTEZARI Album together with ITREB Portugal, as a dedication to Hazir Imam, The Ulu’l-amr, The Qayyim, and the 49 th Imam of the Time, Noor Maulana Shah Karim Al Husseiny.

This project is dedicated to the 49 th hereditary Ismaili Imam of the Time, Noor Maulana Shah Karim Al Husseiny.
The reason l chose the name Trobairitz was because of the poignant mention of the word Troubadour in the speech of MaulanaHazir Imam….. “The Trobadadour pines nostalgically for its Islamic Past”.
Excerpt of the speech of MaulanaHazir Imam, made in Lisbon, Portugal, on Tuesday, 17th December 1996 when he was presented with the key of Freedom to City of Lisbon.
This means l want to further the mission of the Troubadours, under UNDER THE AEGIS OF IMAM OF THE TIME through Ginans, and their teachings as taught to us by our Imams, Pirs and Syeds in the Indic Languages which we are familiar with.
The Ginans are full of poetry par excellence, explaining the concept of Tawheed or MONOREALITY.
Even the Lyrics of Sufi writers, like Bulle Shah, Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai, Faiz Ali Faiz, SachalSarmast, Mast Qalandar and many more cannot ultra pass the Lyrics Par Excellence of our Pirs and Syeds in the GINANS either in Prose or knowledge.
Albeit the tunes of our ginans are not of Arabic or Persian Origins.
However our Qasidas from Arabic and Persian speaking, Burushuski and Pamiri speaking jamats complete the musical scenario to include expressions in Indic, Arabic, Persian, Hunzai, Pamiri and Burushuski languages and many more dialects.
The Musical Diamonds Project comprises of a SET of Albums, each Album comprising of 10 compositions.
The Lyrics of both the Albums were written by late legendary poet of Pakistan, QateelShifai, with whom l have closely worked.
The Albums comprise of songs in Indian Classical Ragas and folk Ragas, and a fusion of musical sounds has been used, combining Western and Eastern musical instruments.
Both the sets have been compiled in simple classic Urdu language, for accessibility to wider audiences and an endeavour to have the work translated into English has been undertaken. This will make the work available to many more audiences, to understand, theMetaphysical aspects and Historical facts in the Albums and of course the joy to listening.
In each Album the first composition is Hamd, the Affirmation of Lailla Ha Illalah, the second composition is Naat, Affirmation of MuhammadurRasullilah, thethird compositionis Munqabat, Affirmation of AliyunAmirulMomininAliyyullah..
So the Affirmation of Shahada, La illah ha Illalah, MuhhamadurRasullilah, AlliyunAmirulMomininAliyyullah has been proclaimed in these Albums.
The rest of the seven songs are dedicated to the Imam of the Time, The True Guide, The Murshid e Kamil, for his guidance and achievements.
